Wonderful Charity Charter Party of Interact Club Sofia International AAS

The Sofia International Interact Club at The Anglo-American School had its chartering ceremony and party at the luxurious Sheraton Hotel. The event gathered high-level officials from the Rotary organization in Bulgaria as well as many public figures from the political, cultural, economic and academic life of Sofia city and Bulgaria.
The ceremony inaugurated young Bulgarian and foreign school-students as members of Interact Club Sofia International and gave support for the mission and goals of the new organization. The following party gathered funds for charitable cause that the Interact Club Sofia International at The Anglo-American School has identified to be the support of UNICEF Bulgaria.
The youngest member of the Sofia International family was honored by more than 100 guests. The charter list was handed to Mr. Asparuh Karastoyanov – the President of IAC Sofia International Anglo American School by District Governor of D-2482 Bulgaria Mr. Plamen Minev. The newly chartered club was congratulated by the President of Rotaract Club Sofia International Mr. Dimiter Mandradjiev. Rotaract Club Sofia International gave a voucher for 100 BGN for a future project of the new Interact Club Sofia International. The members of the Interact club received their pins from the members of the Rotary Club Sofia International and support from the members of Rotaract Club Sofai International. The official part continued with wishes and presents by fellow Interactors and Rotaractors from D-2482 Bulgaria.
Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 14 to 18. Interact clubs are either community or school based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true “partners in service” and key members of the family of Rotary. Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization. Its more than 1.2 million members volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto, Service Above Self.
