With the following, we would like to bring to your attention information on a project, co- organized by our Rotaract club, Rotaract Sofia International, District 2482- Bulgaria. In the period 23- 30 of July 2011, in Sofia, Bulgaria for a 4th time will be held the global conference for young specialists, “Sofia International Model United Nations” – SOFIMUN. The event is co-organized by International Foundation “SOFIMUN” and Rotaract club Sofia International.
The Rotaract Club Sofia International is organizing an education Rotary seminar for its guests and members.

Rotary Club Sofia International and Rotaract Club Sofia International are organizing the 3rd edition of the annual Christmas theatre trip for orphans.
On Saturday (Dec 4th 2010) the Rotary Club Sofia International and Rotaract Club Sofia International will organize a theatre trip for about 130 orphans from 6 orphanages on the territory of Sofia city. The program consists of hvaing the children have a very smiley breakfast with the help of McDonalds restaurant on Slaveykov square in the center of the city. Afterwards the children will be lead to the Capital Puppet Theatre that is 2 blocks away from the restarurant on Gurko str. Then the children will watch a puppet show and afterwards upon their exiting of the theatre will receive packages with presents.
Rotaract Club Sofia International has a successful joint meeting with Rotaract Club Sofia Sredets on Nov 22 2010 at the Downtown Hotel. The meeting started at 19:00 h. and finished at 21:00 h. The meeting aimed to “brake the ice” between the members of both clubs and also to present to each other the activities and plans of the club. Rotaract Club Sofia International supports the activities of the newest RAC in Sofia – the Sofia Sredets club.
It was agreed to start working on mutual activities and projects.
The Rotaract Club Sofia International is going to have a National Pressconference on Friday, December 3, 2010 in the National Pressclub of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency at 11:00 h.
The aim of the pressconference is to inform the public about the work and activities that RAC Sofia Interantional provides and manages for the benefit of the social society in Bulgaria and abroad.

The Rotaract Club Sofia International will provide know-how support at the annual gathering of ESN (Erasmus Students Network) in Bulgaria. The initiative will bring more than 100 young members and guests of ESN Bulgaria at Veliko Tarnovo for teambuilding and knowledge activities. The project aims to build better administrative and organizational capacity of the Bulgarian branch of the international organization. Members of Rotaract Club Sofia International is to help by providing know-how on the fundraising side of working in an organization. The Rotaract Club Sofia International will also be presented. The members of Rotaract Club Sofia International will be Mr. Boris Tassev (President) and Mr. Dimiter Mandradjiev (Past-President 2008-2010).

The Rotaract Club Sofia International together with Rotary Club Sofia International is proud to present to you the chance to lend a helping hand to the forgotten children and adults of Bulgaria by supporting our Austrian Charity Evening at the Military Club, May 28th 2010. All Proceeds to benefit the PASTRA Organization and the SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria.
Pastra is a home for 80 mentally disturbed persons, in the village of Pastra, near Rila, in Southern Bulgaria. The SOS Children’s’ Village is located in the Pernik municipality, close to Sofia. The home in Pastra was recently somewhat improved by the Austrian Concordia Foundation with an investment of € 90.000 but much can still be done. A further € 30.000 must be found to install showers, renovate the sleeping area and replace old doors. The SOS Kinderdorf will also use the funds for the renovation of a home hosting 6 children.
Dear friends,
The Rotaract Club Sofia International has secured the quantity of 1200 books for our future projects. The books are donated by the library of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Media of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The books are donated to the club because they were going to be otherwise given away and thus the library decided to give the books for the activities and projects of the Rotaract Club Sofia International.
